This policy covers this website and the tools we publish under it. It is issued by Changsha Onix Byte Technology Co., Ltd ("we", "us"), the operator of onixbyte.com and onixbyte.cn.
What we collect
Almost nothing.
There is no account to create, no newsletter to sign up for and no form to submit. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information, and there is nowhere on this site to give it to us.
Tools that run in your browser
The tools we publish, including Dev Lab, run entirely in your browser. Data you paste into them — configuration files, API responses, anything else — is processed on your own machine and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no upload step, and no code in those tools that could perform one.
This is a deliberate design decision. We use these tools on real data ourselves, and a tool that sends your data somewhere is a tool we would not be able to use.
Local storage, and no cookies
We do not set cookies.
The site does store two small pieces of information in your browser's local storage. Both stay on your device, and neither is readable by us:
Clearing your browser's site data removes both, and the site continues to work without them.
Server logs
Like any web server, the hosts that serve this site may record standard access logs — IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested — for security and troubleshooting. These are not used to identify or profile individuals, and we do not combine them with any other information.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is generally nothing for us to show, correct or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will look into it.
If you are in a jurisdiction that grants you rights over your personal data, those rights are not affected by anything in this policy.
